bulletin for 10/28

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. Teens and parents, we remind you of the upcoming quarterly area wide youth rally that is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. this evening at the Valley View Church. Those of us left behind here will enjoy our customary last Sunday evening of the month singing and devotional. The sandwiches and desert that we normally share following the singing will not be held due to the number of our folks that will be away.

Rather than using our teens to collect non-perishable items for Southern Christian Home, as we normally do during the fall of the year, we are going to provide the opportunity for all of you to participate. For the next two Sundays we are encouraging you to bring any canned goods or other non-perishable items and leave them in the kitchen for their delivery.

We want to remind you of the soon approaching change of clocks as we return to Central Standard Time on Sunday morning, November 4. Be sure to set them back one hour.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. We want to say “thank you” for the assistance this last week in providing lunch last Thursday for the always hungry “Lions for Christ” at UAFS.

bulletin for 10/14

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. Our next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening at 5:00 downstairs. Dustin Dacus will be doing our preaching this evening. Men, we encourage your presence.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ at UAFS this coming Thursday. We need your help with cookies and soft drinks. Just bring them to the kitchen downstairs either tonight or Wednesday night.

bulletin for 9/30

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. Today is the 5th Sunday of the month so we will be sharing our customary 5th Sunday lunch together following this mornings service. Following lunch we will meet back in the auditorium for singing and a brief devotional. Reid Carter will be bringing our devotional thoughts at that time. A communion service will be held at our regular time this evening for those who were not able to attend this morning. As usual our contribution today will be going to Southern Christian Home.

Our next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held on Sunday evening, October 14, at 5:00 downstairs.
