bulletin for 12/2
The
bulletin for this week
has now been posted. We will be hosting the next area wide men’s prayer
breakfast here at the Dayton Church this coming Saturday morning beginning at
7:30 am. Men, we need to show up here about 6:15 to begin the cooking. If you’ve
never attended before try it out. You’ll like it!
Our annual chili cook-off is set for next Saturday evening as well beginning at
5:30 p.m. Dust off your best chili recipe and your crock pot and see how you
will do competing with some of the best chili in the state. If you have no chili
pot then just bring some crackers and come expecting a good time. This will be
an excellent time to invite friends who are not members here to come and get
acquainted with us.
This month has five Sundays. We will be sharing our customary 5th Sunday lunch
on December 30. What better way to bring the year to an end than our gathering
that day.

Rather than using our teens to collect non-perishable items for Southern
Christian Home, as we normally do during the fall of the year, we are going to
provide the opportunity for all of you to participate. For the next few Sundays
we are encouraging you to bring any canned goods or other non-perishable items
and leave them in the kitchen for their delivery.
Last reminder, tonight is when we change our clocks back for Central Standard
Time!
