bulletins for 11/10

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

Joe Bridges will be preaching this morning.

As we have done in the past, we will not be having an end-of-month fellowship meal in the months of November and December. Lots of folks have varying family traditions around these holidays (not to mention lots of cooking that is traditionally done). We will resume these meals in January.

We will be having a Thanksgiving devotional service on Wednesday, November 27th. We will meet in the auditorium at our regular time. Classes will not be in session.

You are invited to join our neighbors at the Dayton Community Building for their annual Christmas in the Country Holiday Bazaar on Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd from 10AM-7PM and Sunday, November 24th from Noon-4PM. You can shop for gifts, décor, and food while homecooked concessions will also be available. See Cindy Davis or Glenda Hurt with any questions.

Thank you for your donations in support of those affected by the recent hurricanes. A total of $2,371 was collected, which was matched from the church treasury for a total of $4,742 sent to the CURE effort in Fort Smith.

Our chili supper and game night has been rescheduled for next Saturday, November 9th at 530PM.

The contribution box is on the center table in the foyer for a special collection to support those affected by Hurricane Helene. Please make checks out to the Dayton Church, mark them for hurricane relief, and we will send one check to CURE in Fort Smith. As is our custom with these disaster relief efforts whatever you give will be matched out of our church treasury. Today will be the last day we will have the contribution box out.

Our next end-of-month fellowship meal will be held today after morning services.
