bulletin for 9/23

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. Thanks to all of you who helped in providing lunch this last Thursday for the Lions for Christ at UAFS. Especially to those of you who served that day.

This month has five Sundays, and next Sunday we will be sharing our customary 5th Sunday lunch together. Following lunch we will meet back in the auditorium for singing and a brief devotional. Reid Carter will be bringing our devotional thoughts on that afternoon. A Sunday evening communion service will be held for those who were not able to attend the morning service. As usual our 5th Sunday contribution will be going to Southern Christian Home.

Teens, be sure to mark your calendar for Sunday evening, October 28, for the next quarterly area wide youth rally that is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. The Valley View Church will be hosting this quarter.

bulletin for 9/16

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ this Thursday, September 20, at noon at UAFS. We will need the usual soft drinks, cookies, or brownies. You may bring those either this evening or Wednesday evening and simply leave them in the kitchen. Thanks for your help.

The monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening beginning at 5:00 downstairs. Men, we encourage all that can to be present.

The Valley View Church is hosting its Annual Ladies Day next Saturday. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast being served from 8:30 til 9:00 a.m. The program will run from 9:00 til 11:00 a.m. The morning speaker will be Cindy Baker. “Sisters in Song” from Westark and “One Voice” from Poteau will be singing. We have already called in the number of folks who signed up, but if you would like to attend and did not sign up please let Larry Bridges know and he will inform the host church.

Two tentative dates have been set for annual fall activities here. Chris and Stephanie Young will once again host the fall cook-out and hayride on Saturday evening, November 3. Our chili cook-off has been scheduled for December 8 here at the building.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. The next quarterly area wide men’s prayer breakfast is being hosted by the Heritage Addition Church next Saturday morning, September 8. Beginning time is 7:30 a.m.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ on Thursday, September 20, at noon at UAFS. We will need the usual soft drinks, cookies, or brownies. Thanks for your help.

bulletin for 8/26

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. The new teaching quarter is set to begin next Sunday, and we need some wonderful volunteers to assist with teaching for the next quarter. A sign-up sheet is on the center table in the foyer, and we still have a couple of slots available. Thanks so much to those of you who have helped through the present quarter.

Our next end-of-the-month singing and sandwiches will be held this evening.. Reid Carter will be bringing our devotional following our singing tonight. Plan to come. We guarantee you won’t regret it.
