bulletin for 1/6
The
bulletin for this week
has now been posted. When bad weather brings bad roads we will make a decision
regarding canceling or re-scheduling services as soon as is practical. You will
receive notification a couple of ways. One is by e-mail on our church
distribution list. If you have e-mail and are not on the list but would like to
be, please give Larry Bridges your address. We also send out the bulletin and
other news during the week via e-mail. We also notify by phone web. If your
number has changed since printing the last directory, or if you are not in our
directory, please give Larry your phone number if you would like to be notified
by phone.
The next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held next
Sunday evening beginning at 5:00 pm downstairs. Men, we encourage those of you
who can to join us.

bulletin for this week
has now been posted. Today is the 5th Sunday of the month. We will be sharing
our customary 5th Sunday lunch following worship services this morning. What
better way to bring the year to an end than our gathering today. Following lunch
we will have singing and a devotional by Reid Carter back in the auditorium. A
communion service will be provided at 6:00 p.m. this evening for those who could
not be present this morning. As is our custom the contribution today will be
going to Southern Christian Home.
Today is the last day for the contribution box for hurricane relief in the
Northeast. The money will be sent to the Whites Ferry Road Church of Christ who
is overseeing the effort. Thank you for your caring.

We also want to thank all of our cooks for the very excellent chili prepared for
