bulletin for 03/24

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.We are presently collecting items for Ralph Black for a care package. Ralph continues serving us and this nation in the war zone overseas. A list of appropriate items is on the center table in the foyer if you would like to help with the package. Just leave the items in the kitchen downstairs or on one of the pews in the foyer.

Larry & Donna Bridges and family are on vacation in Florida March 17-24. Bruce Flippo will be filling in for Larry this morning and will do an excellent job of sharing the Gospel with us. Dustin Dacus will be speaking this evening.

Next Sunday will be a 5th Sunday. We’ve decided not to have our customary 5th Sunday meal , to accommodate time with families that is traditionally planned around the Easter holiday. We will be having an evening singing and devotional service as we typically do at the end of the month, but will not be having sandwiches and finger foods afterwards. Our contribution next week will be going to Southern Christian Home.

Larry & Donna Bridges and family are on vacation in Florida March 17-24. James Burgess of the Northside Church is filling in for Larry this morning. Bruce Flippo will fill in next Sunday. Both men will do an excellent job of sharing the Gospel with you. Dustin Dacus will continue to handle Sunday evenings in his excellent manner.

The last Sunday of this month will be a 5th Sunday. We will be sharing our usual lunch following morning worship. After lunch we will assemble back for a time of singing and a devotional. A communion service will be served that evening for those who were not able to attend in the morning. Plan to be a part of that day’s activities.

The Valley View Church of Christ will be hosting the next Area Wide Youth Activity on Sunday, April 21st.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. Thanks for your help in providing lunch for the Lions for Christ this last Thursday. Thanks to our youth and youth leaders for hosting area youth last night here for the quarterly youth singing. The kids had a good time, and Christian bonds were strengthened.

We are presently collecting items for Ralph Black for a care package. Ralph continues serving us and this nation in the war zone overseas. A list of appropriate items is on the center table in the foyer if you would like to help with the package. Just leave the items in the kitchen downstairs or one of the pews in the foyer.

The next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. downstairs. We encourage all men who desire to be present.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ this Thursday, March 7, at their facility in Ft. Smith. We will need soft drinks and cookies/brownies to go with the pizza. Thanks for your continued help with this.

The next quarterly area wide men’s prayer breakfast will be hosted by Valley View this Saturday morning, March 9, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Next Saturday evening, March 9, we will be hosting area youth for a youth singing evening. If weather permits the projection equipment will be set up outside around a fire for the singing. Refreshments will be served. We encourage our young folks to attend and bring a friend with you.

bulletin for 2/17

The bulletin for this week has now been posted. The Paris Church of Christ is hosting our area wide quarterly youth activity on Sunday evening, February 24, begin- ning at 5:00 p.m. For those planning to attend please sign up on the sheet on the center table in the foyer.

Next Sunday evening , February 24, will be our monthly singing/devotional service with sandwiches and desert to fol- low. Plan to stay and enjoy some extra time together.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ on Thursday, March 7, at their facility in Ft. Smith. We will need soft drinks and cookies/brownies to go with the pizza.
