The elders would like to meet with those members of this church who are parents to our children here. We need your input in determining how we can best support you in bringing up children in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord.” This meeting is set for next Sunday evening, May 3, at 5:00 downstairs.

We will be sharing our customary sandwiches and dessert this evening following our end-of-the month singing and devotional. Reid Carter will bring our devotional this evening.

The monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held the third Sunday in May rather than the usual second Sunday due to Mother’s Day.

The elders would like to meet with those members of this church who have an expressed interest in mission works that we are supporting or should be looking into. This meeting will be this evening beginning at 5:00 downstairs. Another meeting with the elders is set for Sunday evening, May 3, for the parents of our children here.

We want to thank those of you who assisted with providing lunch for the Lions for Christ last Thursday.

Our spring Round Robin is set to begin tomorrow evening at the Western Yell Church. A complete schedule is on the back of this morning’s bulletin.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ this coming Thursday at noon at UAFS. We need your help with soft drinks and cookies. Bring them either tonight or this Wednesday evening.

The egg hunt at Buckner Park went well yesterday. Thank you to those who participated for taking the time to provide an enjoyable afternoon for kids.

bulletin for 03/29

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

Larry Bridges will be doing the preaching this morning.

This month has five Sundays. We will be sharing our customary noon meal together following the morning worship service this morning. Singing and a devotional by Reid Carter will follow the meal. This will be held downstairs rather than in the auditorium. A communion service for those who couldn’t attend during the morning will be held at 6:00. Our contribution this morning will go to early payment of our church loan as is our custom.

We will be hosting an egg hunt for our children and other interested youth next Saturday at Buckner Park in Witcherville beginning at 1:00. More information is contained on the back of this bulletin this morning. Plan to come and enjoy a good time.
