Joe Bridges will be preaching this morning.
Mike Brewer will be teaching our adult auditorium Bible class.
The Sunday evening Bible study group will meet in the basement at 5PM
today.
Our supply of two-liter sodas downstairs is running low. If you would, please
pick up a couple to help replenish these for our fellowship meals and other
events. You may leave them in the kitchen downstairs or on the pew in the foyer.

David Nix will be teaching our adult auditorium Bible class and will be
discussing Psalm 1.
The Sunday evening Bible study group will meet in the basement at 530PM
today.

The Sunday evening Bible study group will not be meeting this week. The next
session will be next Sunday, September 7th at 5PM in the basement.
Our next end-of-month fellowship meal will be after morning services today.

Dustin Dacus will be preaching this morning. Joe Bridges will be
teaching our auditorium adult Bible class.
David Nix will be leading a Bible study group beginning tonight at 5PM
in the basement and all are welcome to join. The first topic to be studied will
be prayer.
Thank you for your generosity in assisting those affected by recent catastrophic
flooding in Texas. A total of $1,439 was raised and will be combined with
additional funds from the church treasury for a total of $3,000 to be sent.
We are looking for teachers to assist with our youth Bible classes on Sunday
mornings and Wednesday evenings. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the foyer
for those wanting to help in this area.
Shawn Hull from the Cherokee Home for Children in Texas will be visiting
us next Sunday, August 17th and speaking in the auditorium during class
time.

us today and speaking in the auditorium during class time.
David Nix is leading a Bible study group meeting on Sunday evenings at
5PM in the basement. Tonight’s topic of study will be The Lord’s Supper.
Our next end-of-month fellowship meal will be after morning services on
Sunday, August 31st.
Get your crock pots ready for a chili supper and game night scheduled for
Saturday, October 4th.
