bulletins for 11/12

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

Please welcome Paul Love and his wife Joli as they join us this morning. Paul will be teaching the auditorium Bible class as well as preaching today.

Our neighbors next door at the Dayton Community Building will be wrapping up their annual “Christmas in the Country Holiday Bazaar” today. They will be serving lunch consisting of soup, sandwiches, and Christmas sweets for dine-in or carry out. See Glenda Hurt or Cindy Davis for more details.

We’ll be having our customary Thanksgiving devotional service this coming Wednesday, November 22nd. There will be no classes that evening and we will meet together in the auditorium. As is our custom, we will not be having our end-of-month fellowship meal the last Sunday in November.

Our ladies will be having a holiday cookie exchange on Thursday, December 7th at 6:30PM downstairs. You can find more information and a sign-up sheet on the table in the foyer.

Our next bi-monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held on Sunday, December 10th at 830AM downstairs.

The Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Van Buren is holding their annual Ladies’ Retreat coming up on the first weekend in November at Lake Fort Smith State Park. There are options for both Saturday only or overnight stay. Please see Niketa Stinchcomb for more information and to sign up.

Our ladies are in the process of putting together a Wednesday night Bible class and are in need of teachers. For more information and to sign up, please see Melissa Bridges.

Our next end-of-month fellowship meal will be held this morning after worship services. Do plan to stay and enjoy this time of food and fellowship together. We will not have end-of-month meals in November or December as is our custom during the holiday season.

Daylight Savings Time will come to an end next Sunday, November 5th. Be sure to set your clocks back by an hour to return to Central Standard Time.
