The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

This month has five Sundays. We will be sharing our usual 5th Sunday lunch in two weeks. Following our lunch singing with a devotional by Reid Carter will be enjoyed. As is our custom the contribution for that day will be going to early payment of the church building loan.

The Valley View Church is hosting their annual “Ladies Day” on Saturday, September 6, from 9:00 til 12:00. Lunch will be provided. A sign-up sheet is located on the center table in the foyer for those planning to attend.

The next area wide men’s prayer breakfast is scheduled for Saturday morning, September 6. Men, please go ahead and mark this date on your calendar as we will be hosting the breakfast this quarter.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions For Christ at UAFS on Thursday, September 11. We will need your help with cookies and soft drinks.

Our next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening beginning at 5:00 p.m. downstairs. Men, we hope you can attend.

The next area wide men’s prayer breakfast is scheduled for Saturday morning, September 6. Men, please go ahead and mark this date on your calendar as we will be hosting the breakfast this quarter.

Thank you for your help in providing lunch for the family at last Monday’s funeral. A special thanks once again to those of you who served during the meal. The dishes are available for pick up in the kitchen downstairs.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

The time for our all-day VBS is upon us. THANK YOU to those of you who signed up to help us with the teaching and other responsibilities in the activities for the day. Another opportunity to help involves this coming Friday evening. We need your help in setting up the downstairs area and preparation for the activities that will be going on. We plan to begin the work at 6:00 p.m. Regardless of preparation the success of the day needs your presence, and the presence of our kids and friends. The day’s schedule is on the back of your bulletin.

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

We will be sharing our customary sandwiches and dessert this evening following our end-of-the-month singing and devotional service. Reid Carter will be bringing our devotional.

The time for our all-day VBS is close. As always we need your help in order to be able to carry out the work that will go on during that day. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the foyer for teachers. Husband and wife teams are certainly welcome. We need the help of our teens as well. Please choose the age of student you prefer. If you’ve never worked during VBS this would be an excellent time to start. The day’s schedule is on the back of your bulletin.

bulletin for 07/20

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

The monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening at 5:00 downstairs. Men, we encourage your presence for our weekly meeting.

Faye Upton has been working on a more extensive church history. A printed copy for your review is on the center table in the foyer. If there are additions, deletions, or revisions that need to be made please see Faye. We appreciate her work on this.

We will be sharing our customary sandwiches and dessert next Sunday evening following our end-of-the-month singing and devotional service. Reid Carter will be bringing our devotional.

Hard copies of the church bulletin have been placed in binders and added to church library for those of you who might want to check on a past event or simply have access for historical purposes. Bulletins for the years 2010-2013 are available. As each year ends another binder will be added.
