bulletin for 10/14

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

Larry Bridges will be preaching for us this morning. Dale Carter will preach this evening.

The work of updating our church directory is about complete. Several have requested new pictures of you or your family. If you have not had those made please see Donna Bridges. Once all the changes have been made we will print a single copy and place it in the foyer for you to check the information for accuracy. The DEADLINE for changes is TODAY, OCTOBER 14. After final changes the directory copies will be made.

We are now collecting blue jeans, new or used, fore the annual Hope Chest Jeans Drive that we have participated in for the last several years. Most needed is men’s sizes 36 or smaller, but any size can be given.

Our next men’s and ladies’ monthly business meetings will be held this evening at 5:00.

We will be providing lunch for the Lions for Christ this Thursday, October 18. As usual we need your help with soft drinks and cookies. Thanks for your continued assistance with this.

Larry Bridges will be preaching for us this morning. Reid Carter will have our devotional this afternoon.

This month has five Sundays. We will share our usual noon meal together on Sunday today. Following our meal we will gather for a time of singing and a brief devotional by Reid Carter. As is our custom, our contribution for today will go toward the early payment of our church loan. Let’s stay and enjoy this time together.

bulletin for 09/09

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

Larry Bridges will be preaching for us this morning. Bruce Flippo will preach this evening.

Our monthly men’s and ladies business meeting will be held this evening beginning at 5:00 downstairs for the men and upstairs for the ladies.

The next area wide men’s prayer breakfast will be hosted by the Valley View Church on Saturday morning, September 15, at 7:30 a.m. This is a little later than usual due to the Labor Day Weekend.
