Voter Guides for the upcoming election are on the center table in the foyer if you would like to take one to review candidates position on various issues.

The next elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held next Sunday evening in the fellowship area downstairs.

The Lift continues to be closed as we wait for a replacement part to arrive and be installed.

The contribution box remains on the center table in the foyer for those of you who may not have had the op- portunity to give to provide relief to folks from the recent devastating hurricane in the Lake Charles area of Louisiana. We are working with CURE in Ft. Smith in this effort. The amount you donated over the last two weeks is $1,035. We added additional money from the church treasury, and sent a check for $2,000 to CURE last week. CURE normally sends a big truck with workers, but the most pressing need at this time is simply funds to help provide for the needs of so many who have lost their homes. For those who may not remember, the work of CURE is overseen by the Westark Church of Christ in Ft. Smith, and are supported monthly by Dayton.

We are working with CURE in Ft. Smith in this effort. This is the final Sunday for this special collection. We have already sent one check in and will send a second after today.

The LIFT project has been completed, and is fully functional. See Joe, Dustin, or Lowell if you need any help in using it.

bulletin for 09/06

The bulletin for this week has now been posted.

We will be adding our Wednesday evening classes back in beginning this coming Wednesday evening. A teacher sign-up sheet is on the center table in the foyer.

The LIFT project is nearing completion. We still need to do some finish work, and the state must come to inspect it prior to its use.
