Our monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting was held this morning at 9:00 rather than our usual evening meeting. The meeting centered around our regular worship schedule and the increasing numbers in our area related to COVID.

At our elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting last month the decision was made to limit our weekly assemblies to Sunday morning worship only. With the increase in COVID cases in this area and within this congregation we believed it to be prudent to work with an abbreviated schedule for a while. This restricted schedule will continue at least until our next business meeting on August 8 where the decision will be reviewed. Sunday morning worship will begin at 10:00 a.m. There will be no Bible classes.

Larry Bridges will be bringing our message this morning. Our customary end-of-the-month fellowship meal will not be observed today as a COVID precaution. There will be no service this evening.
At our elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting last Sunday evening the decision was made to limit our weekly assemblies to Sunday morning worship only. With the increase in COVID cases in this area and within this congregation we believed it to be prudent to work with an abbreviated schedule for a while. Our monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held this evening at 5:00 downstairs. Men, we encourage your participation.
Next Sunday is the last Sunday of the month. As is our custom we will be sharing a noon meal following our morning worship. There will be no evening service that evening.
Thank you to those of you who served in teaching our children last quarter, and thanks for those who have committed to the work this quarter.

Our next elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held next Sunday, June 11th, at 5PM downstairs. Men, we encourage your presence.
Our new teaching quarter begins today. We are still in need of a teacher for the younger kids class on Wednesday nights. As always, our thanks to those who have served this quarter. We will also resume our practice of providing child care during the sermon time for children ages two through Kindergarten today. There is a sign-up sheet on the table in the foyer for those who can help.
