bulletin for this week
has now been posted. The next monthly elders, deacons, and men’s business
meeting will be held this evening beginning at 5:00 downstairs. Men, we
encourage your presence. Dustin Dacus will be bringing our sermon this evening.
Our students in grades 6-12 are invited to an overnight “Lock-In” at the Valley
View Church following the “Kick-Off” event at the Greenwood football stadium
next Friday evening, August 24. The lock-in will end at 6:00 a.m. Saturday
morning. If you would like to attend a sign-up sheet is on the center table in
the foyer.

The
bulletin for this week
has now been posted. Today is the 5th Sunday of the month. As is our custom we
will be sharing a wonderful lunch following services this morning with a time of
singing and a devotional by Reid Carter immediately following. A communion
service will be held this evening for those who could not be present this
morning. Our contribution today will be going to Southern Christian Home. If you
are visiting today please consider yourself to be our special guests at lunch.
Our youth are invited to an area wide youth night at the Booneville Church set
for this coming Saturday, August 4. The Mena Church has a back-to-school youth
area wide youth activity planned for next Saturday, August 11. Sign-up sheets
for both activities are on the table in the foyer.

The
bulletin for this week
has now been posted. An evening of baseball is planned for our youth and adults
who would like to attend. We will be heading up to Northwest Arkansas for
another “Naturals” baseball game next Saturday, July 28. Leaving time is 5:00
p.m. from here.
Our youth are invited to an area wide youth night at the Booneville Church set
for Saturday, August 4. The Mena Church has a back-to-school youth area wide

has now been posted. We just finished a GREAT VBS this week!

Sunday evening, July 22, beginning at 5:00 downstairs. Dustin Dacus will be
preaching for Larry that evening.
An evening of baseball is planned for our youth and adults who would like to
attend. We will be heading up to Northwest Arkansas for another “Naturals”
baseball game on July 28. A sign-up sheet is on the table in the foyer for those
who would like to attend. Deadline for signing up is TODAY.

The
bulletin for this week
has now been posted. Our yearly VBS will begin tonight at our regular 6:00 p.m.
time and run through 7:30. Beginning tomorrow evening VBS will run 7:00 p.m. til
8:30 p.m through Wednesday evening. Many thanks to those of you who have
volunteered to help and those who came last night to do preparatory work. See
further information on the back of this bulletin.
Larry and Donna will be out of town next weekend. Dustin Dacus will be preaching
in Larry’s place next Sunday morning. Mike Carson will be preaching next Sunday
evening.
