This evening is the last Sunday evening of the month. As is our custom we will
be sharing sandwiches and desert following our evening singing and devotional
service.
The Washburn Church will be hosting area youth this evening beginning at 4:00
p.m. The speaker will be the Lions for Christ campus minister. There is a
sign-up sheet on the center table in the foyer. See Dustin if you need further
information.
Our next elders, deacons, and men’s business meeting will be held in two weeks
on Sunday evening, October 12, beginning at 5:00 p.m. downstairs.

Larry Bridges will be doing the preaching for us this morning. Dustin Dacus will
be preaching this evening.
Next Sunday evening is the last Sunday of the month. We will be sharing our
usual sandwiches and desert following our evening singing service. Reid Carter
will bring our devotional that evening.

We want to say thank you to those of you who participated in the collection and
donation of blue jeans in cooperation with the Westark Church. Those jeans will
be provided to those who need them most.

UAFS this last Thursday. You are essential to the work we carry on here.
Our next monthly men’s business meeting will be held this evening at 5:00 p.m.

be preaching this evening.
We will be providing lunch for the Lions For Christ at UAFS this Thursday,
September 11 and will need your help with cookies and soft drinks. You can bring
those this evening or Wednesday evening and just leave them on a pew in the
foyer or in the kitchen downstairs.
Our next monthly men’s business meeting will be held next Sunday evening at 5:00
p.m. downstairs. Men, we continue to encourage the presence of all those who can
attend.

The new teaching quarter is upon us, and once again we need your help. There is
a sign-up sheet on the center table in the foyer. Thank you for your continued
assistance with our Bible classes.
This month has five Sundays. We will be sharing our usual 5th Sunday lunch
today. Following our lunch singing with a devotional by Reid Carter will be
enjoyed. As is our custom the contribution this morning will be going to early
payment of the church building loan. There will be no regular evening service,
but a communion service will be held at 6:00 for those who could not attend this
morning.
The Valley View Church is hosting their annual “Ladies Day” next Saturday,
September 6, from 9:00 til 12:00. Lunch will be provided. A sign-up sheet is
located on the center table in the foyer for those planning to attend.
The next area wide men’s prayer breakfast is scheduled next Saturday morning,
September 6. Men, we hope all of you can attend. We will need to begin cooking
by 6:30 a.m.
