Announcements
bulletin for 11/25
The bulletin for this week has now been
posted. We will host our usual end-of-the-month singing and sandwiches this
evening. Bring your best left-over turkey sandwich and join us.
Our new teaching quarter is set to begin on Sunday morning, December 2. If you
would like to help please sign up on the sheet on the table in the foyer. THANK
YOU to those of you who served this last quarter.
We will be hosting the next area wide men's prayer breakfast here at the Dayton
Church on Saturday morning, December 8, beginning at 7:30 a.m. We need to
show up here about 6:15 to begin the cooking. Be sure to mark your calendar.
Our annual chili cook-off is set for that same Saturday evening, December 8,
beginning at 5:30 p.m. Dust off your best chili recipe and your crock pot and
see how you will do competing with some of the best chili in the state. If you
have no chili pot then just bring some crackers and come expecting a good time.
This will be an excellent time to invite friends who are not members here to
come and get acquainted with us.
We are continuing to collect non-perishable items for Southern Christian Home,
as we normally do during the fall of the year. Today is the final day for this
collection. Just leave those items in the foyer or take them to the kitchen
downstairs. Thanks for helping these kids.

Rather than using our teens to collect non-perishable items for Southern
Christian Home, as we normally do during the fall of the year, we are going to
provide the opportunity for all of you to participate. For the next few Sundays
we are encouraging you to bring any canned goods or other non-perishable items
and leave them in the kitchen for their delivery.
Last reminder, tonight is when we change our clocks back for Central Standard
Time!

bulletin for 10/28
The bulletin for this week has now been
posted. Teens and parents, we remind you of the upcoming quarterly area wide
youth rally that is set to begin at 5:00 p.m. this evening at the Valley View
Church. Those of us left behind here will enjoy our customary last Sunday
evening of the month singing and devotional. The sandwiches and desert that we
normally share following the singing will not be held due to the number of our
folks that will be away.
Rather than using our teens to collect non-perishable items for Southern
Christian Home, as we normally do during the fall of the year, we are going to
provide the opportunity for all of you to participate. For the next two Sundays
we are encouraging you to bring any canned goods or other non-perishable items
and leave them in the kitchen for their delivery.
We want to remind you of the soon approaching change of clocks as we return to
Central Standard Time on Sunday morning, November 4. Be sure to set them back
one hour.
